Intensity
At long last, your August edition of WINGS has arrived! Since the July issue came out, I’ve felt like I’m living the first line in Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.”
There have been two deaths of loved ones in less than three weeks that have shocked and saddened me. But simultaneously, the Universe has showered me with an outpouring of precious gifts. Joyful reunions, the sudden appearance of old friends and new, and quantum leap opportunities have also made this time exciting and hopeful.
The only thing I can say is, never a dull moment! Life has certainly been intense since I last wrote to you!
Of course, while intensity can be interesting (ironic understatement), I for one am rather hoping for slightly more mellow times, come Autumn. How about you?

What to do if you’re not getting my newsletter
(and you thought you were supposed to!)
There are many email and SPAM filtering settings that could possibly block my emails.
Usually, simply adding beth (the at symbol) @ and then owlsdaughter (dot) com to your email address book, approved sender list, contacts list, white list, or safe list (it's called different things in different email programs) should allow my messages to reach you without difficulties.
(and you thought you were supposed to!)
